April 5 has been moved to April 10 as the new date for the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

The board released its weekly bulletin to newsmen in Abuja on Monday, and it included this information.
The change, according to the bulletin, was made to make sure that all preparations were made and to include a number of innovations and improvements that would make the test one of the greatest in history.

It stated that in order to meet the increasing number of examination centers for the exercise, the rescheduling was also necessary.

Once scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025, the Mock UTME will now be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, with the main UTME commencing on April 25, 2025.

According to current research on examination techniques in our area and international best practices, the board acknowledges the necessity for creative ways to maximize the simulated exercise’s intended goal.

“Candidates should wait for the announcement about the printing of their Mock Notification Slip, which will include information about where their test center is located,” the statement read. (NA)
