Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, a former Special Adviser on Political Affairs to President Bola Tinubu in the Office of Vice President Kashim Shettima, has spoken out regarding Tinubu and Shettima’s relationship.
There are rumors that Tinubu may not only sideline Shettima, but may drop him before the 2027 general elections.
At times, the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has had to deny the charges, calling them false.
Remember that Baba-Ahmed, a former Northern Elders Forum (NEF) spokesman, resigned as President Bola Tinubu’s political adviser.
Some parties accused him of resigning after realizing the Vice President was no longer relevant to Tinubu.
On Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, the former NEF chairman was asked to shed light on the relationship between the number one and number two citizens.
He said, “I didn’t notice that. I find it strange. To be honest, I believe the rumors are made up by the two of them.
