The renowned Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, well known by his stage name 2Baba, has formally introduced his fiancée and Edo State legislator, Honourable Natasha Osawaru, to the Idoma traditional leadership and his local community.
The introduction was made at the Och’Idoma Palace in Otukpo on Monday, April 21, 2025, during the Idoma Nation Peace and Unity Symposium, it was learned.
2Baba, who was dressed in traditional Idoma clothing, is said to have summoned kinsmen and presented Natasha to His Royal Majesty, the Och’Idoma V.
After the palace ceremony, 2Baba and Osawaru traveled to Okpokwu, his ancestral home in Benue State, where they had meetings with community members and elders.
The renowned vocalist reiterated his dedication and asked the elders to support the former Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly.
2Baba declared his desire to wed Osawaru, calling her a youthful, intelligent, and captivating woman.

Justice Nuagbe, also known by his stage name Ushbebe, is a Nigerian comedian who has expressed disapproval of 2Baba’s schoolboy-like behavior with his Natasha Osawaru.
Ushbebe reportedly suggested that 2Baba and Natasha have a deeper connection than just love and urged the music legend to break free from the lawmaker’s hold.
The comedian also called for national prayers for 2Baba, saying he finds it hard to remain silent.
