Greater Lagos Chapter of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio’s (MMI) Celebrates 25th Anniversary in Grand Style

All is set for the Greater Lagos Chapter of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio’s (MMI) 25th anniversary with a grand Silver Jubilee celebration, and fund raising for acquisition of property for Ibibio community in Lagos.
In a statement jointly signed by the chairman and secretary of the planning committee, Akparawas Ubon Nsuabia and Ubong Efreso respectively, and which copy was made available to Journalists in Lagos on Thursday, said the milestone event, scheduled for Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Aotel Hotel, 1 Owodunni Street, Off Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos, will draw lovers, friends and well-wishers of Ibibio people to celebrate and support the chapter.
The statement has also that, the event would be chaired by a director in the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Lagos, Obong Brian Efa, with the managing director of Bestman Technical Works Limited, Elder James Edo as chief fund raiser, and hosted by the chapter chairman, Akparawa Uwem Idaha and with the International President of the socio cultural organization, Akparawa James Edet as the Father of the Day.
The statement reads in part, “the Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio (MMI), Greater Lagos Chapter, is ready to mark 25th years of existence, and to celebrate this silver jubilee, where funds will be raised for purchase of land and building of Ibibio House in Lagos.
“This milestone event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Aotel Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, and will draw lovers, friends and well-wishers of Ibibio people to celebrate and support the chapter, and we invite great minds and progressives. ##
