The Shayo crooner reportedly made the assertion in a recent interview with content creator Akin Abolade, where he discussed his career, his hiatus from music, and his role in one of Davido’s best early singles.

Bigiano claims that his contribution was crucial to the song’s popularity, which helped Davido become well-known when it was released in 2011.

For Davido, I penned Dami Duro. During the interview, he stated, “I wrote the hook.”

Bigiano is not formally acknowledged as a co-writer on the song, despite the assertion.

One of Davido’s most iconic songs, “Dami Duro,” catapulted the artist to stardom soon after it was released.

The song has solidified its place in Nigerian music history by being named one of the “greatest Afrobeats songs of all time” by numerous local and international music aficionados over the years.

Bigiano explained that his extended hiatus from the music industry was planned and purposeful, seeing it as a necessary break before a more significant return.

You occasionally need to take a break before you can return. To make a huge comeback to music, I took a break,” he remarked.

The singer insisted that he is still financially stable, rejecting rumors that his lack of attention was caused by financial difficulties.

Bigiano continued, “I can’t be broke.”

However, as at the time this article was filed, Davido had not publicly responded to Bigiano’s assertion that he co-wrote Dami Duro’s hook.

According to reports, “Dami Duro” continues to be a significant turning point in Davido’s musical career.
