On Channels Television, Senator Adams Oshiomhole made comments that provoked criticism while defending the government’s economic policies.
Oshiomhole reportedly responded to inquiries regarding whether the reforms had a detrimental impact on regular Nigerians during the interview.
He refuted claims that the reforms had created hardship and maintained that they were intended to bring about change.
He claimed that many of the issues brought up were primarily conjectural rather than grounded in reality.
Contrary to popular belief, he said, some Nigerians believe that food costs are currently declining.
Oshiomhole questioned whether there was actual proof of numerous complaints, challenging the notion that common people are suffering.
