After online rumors of his death spread, veteran Nollywood actor Bob-Manuel Udokwu finally spoke out.
According to reports, he admitted that his kids were the ones who promptly alerted him to the phony news before he did.
Udokwu said in an interview with the With Chude Podcast that the false claim featured a Photoshopped picture of his head resting on the body of a patient on a hospital bed.
According to the made-up tale, he had died.
According to him, the picture was made by retouching some of his previous photos, adding them to the corpse, and then disseminating the tale as though it were authentic.
While expressing frustration over the situation, Udokwu said his kids told him it would be best to ignore the false information rather than seek retribution and that he shouldn’t go to the police or DSS to find out where it came from.
“My kids came to tell me about the news because they saw it before I did,” he stated.
My head was taken and placed on a body that was resting on a hospital bed. They stated that I had passed away and utilized some of my old photos, pasting them in the appropriate locations.
“My kids, particularly my daughter, advised me against calling the police or DSS to track down the offender and hold them accountable. They suggested that I ignore it.
