Pastor Ibiyomie of Salvation Ministry has revealed how Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), was purportedly given spiritual assistance to become the Governor of Rivers State.
Ibiyomie stated that Wike met him just before he was going to lose his election in court as he was giving a sermon at the church’s headquarters in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.
“Wike lost in the High Court, lost in the Appeal Court, and judgement was already passed in the Supreme Court against him not to be governor,” the pastor stated in a video clip that is making the rounds.
He was trembling when I called him when I was in Israel, but I assured him not to be afraid.
“When I informed him that God would intervene, he answered, “Papa, I believe you; we were doing five nights of glory while the APC was in power and he was in the PDP.” Wike approached me after the program on Tuesday; the verdict was scheduled to be made public on Friday.
“Even if the verdict is against you, I command it to be reversed,” I assured him. Because he was a member of the opposition party at the time, he never had any money.
“Papa, I knew this is God,” he said when everything turned out to be in his favor. At his Thanksgiving, I was the only priest invited.
Additionally, according to Pastor Ibiyomie, Wike met with him when it appeared that he would not be able to win reelection.
“He was going to lose the election the second time he came,” he declared. Someone approached me and said, “You prayed for Wike, we will see how he wins.” They had already planned how to make him lose.
“I made a covenant with God, and Mike was trembling. I didn’t inform Wike that I had donated millions to God on his behalf.
He said, “I said, Lord, not for his sake but for my sake.”
