Interested candidates were encouraged to apply via its careers portal.

In keeping with its regional reach, the organization also posted jobs outside of Nigeria.

These include positions as Principal Programme Officer (Water Supply and Sanitation) in Conakry, PPO (Sports Policy) in Liberia, and Administrative and Finance Officer in Addis Ababa.

Among other places, Dakar offers more legal and administrative positions.

The notification stated, “35 years of age for General Services or Support positions (G1 to G7), 45 years of age for Professional category (P1 to P7), and 50 years of age for Director positions (D1-D2).”

ECOWAS Application Procedure and Due Date
The organization clarified that before the deadline, candidates must download and fill out an official application form, attach a curriculum vitae and a motivation letter, and send it to the specified email addresses.

The application form, CV, and cover letter are required for every application. It said, “Applications that do not include all required documents will not be considered.”

The deadline for applications for the 2026 hiring process is April 30, 2026.

Additionally, ECOWAS emphasized that it does not collect any fees for its recruitment process while cautioning potential candidates to be cautious of fraudulent schemes.
