DJ Kulet, a well-known Nigerian Fuji DJ, has said that she used to be a prostitute.
Kulet said this while giving testimony to God’s glory during a church service on Sunday.
In a video that is going viral on social media, she said that before she became a DJ, she was a very popular prostitute in the Surulere area of Lagos State.
Kulet said, “I just want to say thank you Jesus because my story here in Surulere was very bad.” Because I grew up in Lawanson, everyone knows me. But I am sorry, and God took me out of the gutter.
On Monday morning, she posted the video on her Instagram page and wrote, “How Jesus bought me my own house in Surulere, the same Surulere where the devil once messed me up.” The Gospel of Jesus Christ changed my MESS into a MESSAGE.
“I used to be homeless and sleep around.” You know me, of course, because I was very popular back then. I was a prostitute. I was homeless and wandering the streets of Lagos. After that, a man rented a face for me to slap. My cheap asewo work got me a room with a man’s money, and then Jesus Christ got me a room and parlor with a man’s money. My DJ work is now paying, but my landlord is making me mad. He didn’t use the toilet for two years, so I had to go outside to poop.
“After two years of living in a house without a toilet, I was moved to a four-bedroom apartment with an ensuite bathroom. I now live there because of my job as a DJ. In April of last year, God bought me a house here in Surulere. I didn’t sleep around to pay, and I paid in full with money from my agent.
It was remembered that the DJ had said in 2025 that a family member had sexually abused her.
