28-yr-old Nigerian student stabbed to death during a fight in Canada, suspect on the run.

A 28-year-old Nigerian student, Ifeanyichukwu Oseke, has been stabbed to death by a yet-to-identified man during a fight in Scarborough, Canada.

It was gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred at a mall on Eglinton Avenue area on Sunday evening, June 25.

According to CBC, Toronto police were called to the scene around 7 p.m. Duty Insp. Jeff Bangild said police were told that two individuals were fighting outside the plaza when one of them used a weapon to stab the other.

When they arrived, they found the student suffering from stab wounds. He was taken via emergency run to a nearby trauma centre, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said the male suspect is described as having medium-length dark hair and was last seen wearing a light-coloured tank top, pants and shoes. He was last observed getting into a dark-coloured sedan, travelling south on Brimley Road from Eglinton Avenue East.
