Paul Okoye, one-half of the music group P Square has once again confirmed the dissolution of the band while also stressing his desire to continue as a solo musician.
He lamented the group dynamics in a recent statement that was circulated on social media, saying that he was the one who put forth the most effort while others benefited.
Rudeboy said, “Those days of monkey dey work, baboon dey chop,’ I no dey do am again,” as he thought back on his time with Psquare. ‘‘Every time, I sing every song by myself.’’ He added.
The musician confirmed that P Square will not be getting back together by making it obvious that he now chooses to work alone without his twin brother Peter Okoye.
This comes weeks after Paul expressed frustration and reluctance to discuss the ongoing feud between him and his twin brother.

In an interview with the Afrobeats Podcast, the gifted vocalist expressed reluctance in discussing the ongoing conflict between him and Peter due to fear that his remarks may be misconstrued.
Paul Okoye responded slyly when the host of the show inquired about his sentiments over the unsolved differences between him and his twin brother, Peter.
“All we see publicly is ‘Oh, the duo has separated and they can’t settle, but personally as a human being in quiet moments, how do you feel that you can’t work things out?” Adesope asked.
In his reply, Paul Okoye voiced his dissatisfaction, saying he would want to steer clear of the feud to prevent his remarks from being misunderstood or misquoted.
‘‘I am going to say something and I’m sorry. I know it’s a show but I’d rather not say anything. I’m tired of this twisting of statements; you’re a fan of Psquare and it’s my family. So why would I say something now that would turn into something else? Let’s stick to the Rudeboy,” the singer replied.
