Fanayajo Ranti, a renowned online publisher, has made a name for herself in the journalism world. Born in Lagos State in 1983, she hails from Ondo State’s Idanre Local Government. Her educational journey took her to Ugbogwi Secondary School Ugbogwi Ovia south west in Edo State’s Benin City, and later to Interlink Polytechnic in Osun State, where she graduated in 2013.
That same year, Fanayajo began her journalism career at Trace Magazine in Ondo State. Her passion for storytelling and dedication to her craft led her to work with various magazines, including Society Star Magazine, where she served as a reporter from 2016 to 2018. Her experience in the industry continued to grow as she joined City Movers Magazines.
In 2021, Fanayajo took a significant leap by starting her own publications in Lagos State. As online publisher THETOCHLIGHTAFRICA.COM. Her hard work and commitment to excellence paid off when she became the Vice Chairman of the Lagos State Correspondence Chapel NUJ in 2024. This accomplishment was soon followed by an even greater honor.
On October 9, 2024, Fanayajo was awarded the NAOSNP Most Resourceful Journalist of the Year award, presented by Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, the Minister of State for Police Affairs. In her acceptance speech, Fanayajo humbly said, “What is what doing at all is what doing well.” She dedicated the award to God Almighty, the members of NAOSNP, and her colleagues worldwide.
