In his cabinet, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed Jami’u Abiola as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Linguistics and Foreign Matters.

In a statement issued on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations, announced the appointment, which will begin on November 14, 2024.

The statement claims that the appointment complies with the specific provisions of the modified Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) Act 2008.

Jami’u was the Office of the Vice President’s Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties prior to his appointment.
