For the following 24 months, Dr. Ebong, a Wuse District Hospital employee, is anticipated to hold the position of president.
In his speech, Ebong pledged to put the welfare of doctors first, bemoaning the announcement of Dr. George Ebong as the new president of the Association of Resident Doctors, or ARD, in the Federal Capital Territory, or FCT, Abuja. Ebong expressed his regret that doctors in the FCT have become endangered and pledged to put their welfare first in his speech.
He declared that his administration would endeavor to address the difficulties Abuja’s resident physicians encounter.
“The FCT’s medical profession faces numerous challenges, including salary disparities, lack of manpower, non-payment of rural allowances, delayed salary payments, unfavorable working conditions in our hospitals, and the salary arrears of members hired in 2023,” he stated.
