In Lagos State, President Bola Tinubu has arrived to begin his Christmas and New Year’s vacation.
Tinubu’s presidential plane landed Wednesday at 3:23 p.m. at the Presidential Wing at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos.
The 2025 Appropriations Bill for the 2025 fiscal year was presented by Tinubu before a joint session of the National Assembly.

The budget Tinubu proposed for 2025 was titled “The Restoration Budget: Securing Peace, Rebuilding Prosperity.”
According to Tinubu, the highlights include N4.91 trillion for defense and security, N4.06 trillion for infrastructure, N3.52 trillion for education, and N2.48 trillion for health.
Following the presentation, Tajudeen Abbas, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, reportedly told the president that the House would be paying him a visit in Lagos.
