Fani-Kayode, the former minister of aviation, has once again attacked Kemi Badenoch, the head of the British Conservative Party, for her criticism of Nigeria.

Recall that Badenoch, a British national who was born in Nigeria, has frequently disparaged Nigeria and her establishments.

In a recent interview with a British journalist, she defended the UK police by accusing local police officers of taking her brother’s shoes and wristwatch.

In response to her remarks against Nigeria, Vice President Kashim Shettima recently instructed her to drop the “Kemi” from her name if she did not take pride in her Nigerian heritage.

However, in a post responding to Badenoch on Thursday using his official X Twitter, Fani-Kayode stated that the leader of the conservative party could not demand that the police defend her mother in Lagos from the police she attacked.

She asserts that she believes in the British police and alleges that her brother’s shoes and watch were taken by Nigerian police.

However, she denies that the British police are among the most institutionally racist and corrupt in the world.

“That over the years, a large number of Black people, including Nigerians, have been falsely accused, persecuted, tortured, unlawfully imprisoned, maliciously prosecuted, and killed, including thousands of Nigerians who are killed every year in violent knife crimes on UK streets.”

“The British police ignored all of these because the majority of the victims are Black.”

“It’s surprising that she insists on her mother’s police protection in Lagos, considering her opinions about our police officers,” Fani-Kayode continued.
