President Bola Tinubu announced the project, which is a component of a larger campaign to offer palliative transportation services to Nigerians enjoying Christmas and New Year’s.

Senator Said Alkali, the Transportation Minister, presided over the signing ceremony on behalf of Adeleye Adeoye, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Transportation.

The National Union of Road Transport Workers, the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, the Association of Luxurious Bus Owners of Nigeria, and God is Good Motors are among the important transportation players with whom the Federal Government has signed an MOU.

Passengers traveling to other locations throughout the nation from Abuja and Lagos (Oshodi) will only be required to pay half the regular ticket under the arrangement.
