A renowned traditional ruler in Imo State, HRM Eze Shelkh Abdulfatah Chimeze Emetumah, has joined other thoughtful Nigerians in urging President Bola Tinubu to grant Nnamdi Kanu freedom as a Christmas gift to the Igbo people.
The Monarch of the Ancient Umuofor Autonomous Community in Oguta Council Area of Imo State made this appeal during his speech after receiving the prestigious Leadership Luminary Award from the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations in Owerri over the weekend.
He also called on the President to listen to the pleas of notable Nigerians and release the IPOB leader.

In his speech, he expressed special gratitude to Governor Hope Uzodimma for his commendable work, particularly in road infrastructure and the welfare of civil servants in the state.
While celebrating the Governor’s birthday, Eze Emetumah prayed for God’s continued guidance and protection for both the Governor and the people of Imo State.
He encouraged NIPR members to collaborate closely with the Governor and the state government to promote peace and harmonious relationships for the benefit of all.
