Depending on their region, Nigerians planning to make the Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia in 2025 will have to pay fares ranging from N8.3 million to N8.7 million, according to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
According to a statement released by NAHCON on Monday, pilgrims from Borno and the Adamawa Zone will pay N8.3 million, while those from Southern States will pay N8.7 million.
According to Prof. Abdullahi Usman, Executive Chairman of NAHCON, the Hajj fare is the outcome of extensive cooperation with all pertinent parties.
In a statement released Monday in Abuja by its Assistant Director, Information and Publications, Mrs. Fatima Usara, Usman made this claim.
Usman added that the cost of the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would be N8.4 million for those from the Northern Zone who plan to travel there.
Thanks to the Presidency and the Forum of Executive Secretaries of State Pilgrims Welfare Boards, Agencies, and Commissions, he conveyed his appreciation.
As said by him: “The 2025 hajj fare is proudly announced by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), led by its Chairman, Prof. Abdullahi Usman.
The fare was made public after receiving approval from the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s Office of the Vice President.

The intended pilgrims from Borno and Adamawa zones would pay N8.33 million for their 2025 Hajj ticket.
In the same way, pilgrims from the Southern states who plan to perform the Hajj in 2025 would pay N8.78 million, while those from the Northern zone will pay N8.46 million.
He said that in order to keep the hajj fare within the same range as before, the NAHCON leadership worked with Malam Ameen Amshi, Special Assistant to the President, Special Duties, a representative of the Presidency.
This small fare effort was the result of many consultations to guarantee inclusivity in this crucial decision-making process.
