The goal of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive is to improve the N-Power scheme’s impact and productivity.
According to reports, this was revealed by Nentawe Yilwatda, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
According to him, the change will put young people in direct contact with the private sector and market, guaranteeing that their learned skills will be turned into good employment prospects.
In a Saturday post on X, Tinubu’s social media assistant, Dada Olusegun, stated that more than 100,000 items had been purchased to empower young people nationwide.
“The reform aims to connect youth not only through training but also by connecting them directly to the market space and private sector, ensuring that acquired skills translate into viable job opportunities,” he wrote.

The country’s youth have been empowered through the procurement of more than 100,000 items.
President Tinubu has authorized N32.7 billion for the National Social Investment Program’s implementation in 2025, the minister further confirmed.
“Through cooperative clusters, Nigerians will benefit from low interest credits of N300,000-400,000.
“The initiative aims to empower vulnerable Nigerians, particularly women and youth, by enabling them to launch or expand small businesses, thus improving their livelihoods.
“2025 promises to be a year of rewards for all Nigerians who have had to go through ongoing economic reforms as the administration seeks to fulfill the #RenewedHope Agenda.”
