Afrobeat artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has congratulated his colleague Temilade Openiyi, better known by her stage name Tems, on her victory at the 67th Grammy Awards on Sunday for Best African Music Performance.
According to reports, Tems won the prize for her song “Love Me JeJe.”
In a Monday tweet on his X Twitter, Davido expressed his pride in Tems after the singer’s triumph at the music award gala.
“Congratulations to my one and only!” he wrote. Hey @chrisbrown! We are also proud of you, Queen @temsbaby.

In the meantime, Tems has been putting out successful tracks since 2020, working with Beyoncé, Drake, and Rihanna on her recordings.
She is the most nominated African act this year, having received nominations in three different categories: Best African Music Performance, Best Global Music Album, and Best R&B Song.
“Love me jeje” is a highlight song from the singer’s 2024 debut studio album, “Born in the Wild.”
