After former Nigerian Immigration Service Comptroller General David Parradang was discovered dead in the Joy House Hotel on Tuesday, immigration officers have been posted at the hotel’s entrance in the Garki District of Abuja.
Armed guards were observed keeping a tight eye on those entering and leaving the hotel, which is close to the Area 3 intersection in Abuja.
Hotel management declined to comment on the event, and a reporter was questioned by a security guard at the gate before being allowed entry.
Superintendent Josephine Adeh, the FCT police command’s spokesperson, had earlier confirmed the development in a statement released on Tuesday.
The allegation claims that Parradang, who was driving a black Mercedes Benz, arrived at the hotel on Monday at midday.

According to reports, he paid ₦22,000 for a room and then gave hotel employees instructions to take a female guest to his room. Later, Parradang stayed inside as the woman went.
Investigations into the incident are still underway, according to a police source at the FCT command, who also promised to keep the public informed of any noteworthy discoveries.
