“Easter is a time for forgiveness, love, and strengthening the bonds of unity across creeds and tribes,” said Dr. Peter Mbah, governor of Enugu State.
In his Easter address to the citizens of Enugu State and the country on Saturday, Mbah made this claim.
“I wish everyone a joyous Easter celebration and pray that they encounter the redemptive power of the resurrection as Christians in Nigeria join Christians worldwide in celebrating the feast of Easter.
Easter serves as a reminder of the advantages of sacrifice that last a lifetime. It teaches us the value of moderation and penitence.

“Easter serves as a reminder of our humanity and fraternity. Its commemoration also serves as a call for peace and forgiveness.
In order to deepen our ties and solidarity, let’s also use this solemn occasion to pray for Nigeria and extend love to people of all faiths. In this manner, our beloved nation will be able to overcome all of its obstacles,” he stated.
He wished a joyous Easter celebration to the state’s citizens and all Nigerians.
