According to speculations, Juventus is close to acquiring Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen. However, Cristiano Giuntoli, the club’s sporting director, has disputed this.
Currently on loan from Napoli to Galatasaray, Victor Osimhen has a huge €75 million exit clause, which has clubs looking to increase their attacking options speculating about his possible departure.
Given Giuntoli’s previous participation in Osimhen’s development, the 26-year-old Nigerian forward has frequently been considered for a move to Juventus.
During his tenure as Napoli’s sports director, Giuntoli was instrumental in bringing the player from Lille, a French club, to Serie A.

“I’m not interested in Osimhen,” Giuntoli said in an interview with Derin Football, despite this previous link. Rumors in the Italian media are merely intended to exert pressure on us. At Juventus, the player is not wanted.
On the other hand, despite having a Romanian mother and a Nigerian father, Karim Adeyemi, a winger for Borussia Dortmund, has explained why he prefers to play for Germany.
Nigeria, Germany, and Romania were the three national teams from which the 23-year-old striker, who was born in Munich, Germany, had the possibility to select.
“It’s a difficult question,” Adeyemi said, considering his choice of Germany over Nigeria. I frequently had to respond to this question from my father.
He explained that a big part of his decision was motivated by his encounters with the German Football Association and the good vibes he felt from them.
