In a touching social media post that swiftly gained widespread attention, Kufre, the proprietor of Kayz Place, disclosed the startling discovery.
Davido, a well-known Afrobeats artist from Nigeria, is in the news after his personal barber disclosed that the musician now spends up to ₦2 million on haircuts.
On social media, Kufre Nnah, the creator of the high-end grooming company Kayz Place, shared the heartwarming tale and reflected on their mutual progress. In a post that went viral on the internet, Kufre shared pictures of himself trimming Davido along with a sentimental note.
Davido used to give me 200 Naira when he was 12 years old, and I began trimming his hair at that age. What a voyage! He’s spending two million dollars on a haircut today! My dear, So honored to have been involved from the start of his tale,” Kufre added.
He went on, “I’m really grateful that you trusted me over the years, brother. Your achievements are incredibly motivating.

The message struck a chord with fans, who commended Davido for his loyalty to his pre-fame friends as well as his kindness.
Asa and Davido, two well-known Nigerian musicians, will play at the 2025 National Sports Festival (NSF) opening ceremony.
They will perform during the NSF opening ceremony in Abeokuta, Ogun State, at 5:00 PM on Sunday, May 18.
Bukola Olopade, the National Sports Commission’s Director General, made the announcement via X on Sunday afternoon.
Vice President Kashim Shettima will formally declare the 22nd event, the “Gateway Games,” open.
“This is our own Olympics, and the festival must express that global feel in both competition and organization,” Olopade stated.
Later today at 5:00 pm, the National Sports Commission and the Ogun State Government are hosting a world-class event to commemorate the opening ceremony.
“Asa and Davido, two of Nigeria’s greatest music icons, will perform at the MKO Sports Arena.”
