Victor Osimhen’s uncertainty about a permanent transfer to the Turkish champions has angered Galatasaray’s vice president, Abdullah Kavukcu.
Kavukcu also cautioned Osimhen that his uncertainty would soon compel the club to look into other options.
The Nigerian striker had an incredible 2024–2025 season while on loan at Galatasaray, helping Okan Buruk’s team win the Turkish Super Lig and the Turkish Cup with 37 goals and eight assists in 41 games.
As they continue to press for his signature, Galatasaray has reportedly put up a high offer that is higher than what the majority of European clubs have put up.
Even though Osimhen has rejected offers from the Saudi team Al-Hilal, he has postponed making a definitive choice over his future while on vacation in Nigeria.
“Time is running out, but he’s making us wait,” Kavukcu remarked. “We have provided him with figures that are higher than those suggested in Europe.”

Chelsea has decided that at least two of its four goalkeepers—Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen, Djordje Petrovic, and Mike Penders—will go this summer.
In an attempt to balance the roster and provide playing time elsewhere, one is anticipated to go on loan to Strasbourg, a Ligue 1 team.
Chelsea was offered Maignan earlier in the window, but the club left the talks without submitting a formal proposal. As things are, boss Enzo Maresca has little prospect of acquiring a new goalkeeper this summer.
