The Ondo State Football Agency’s management committee was established by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as part of an attempt to reposition state-owned football teams.
The committee’s members are well-known individuals with a range of sports management backgrounds.
To ensure efficient oversight, they will be working directly with the governor’s office.
The committee is composed of Divine Ogbonnaya, the general manager; Segun Joseph; Awosakin Iluyomade, the representative of the Football Association; Iyabo Ajanaku; and Dapo Ajibade, the marketing consultant.

Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the governor’s chief press secretary, said in a statement that Governor Aiyedatiwa charged the committee with overseeing the operations of the Sunshine Stars Football Club, Sunshine Queens Football Club, and Sunshine Stars Under-19.
Aiyedatiwa has previously pledged to take the required actions to guarantee Sunshine Stars and Sunshine Queens a speedy return to the top leagues in the country.
Therefore, he gave the new management committee the responsibility of thoroughly examining the football clubs’ difficulties and turning around their declining trend.
