Nigeria Will Revive Again But Not Under Tinubu, Says Giwa

Nigerians have been accused of having unrealistic expectations that the country’s economy will improve under the current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This is what Adewale Giwa, the senior pastor of the Second Coming of Christ’s Ministry, said on Sunday during a sermon at his Akure church.

According to him, the nation’s prophets have contributed to its socioeconomic problems by selling their supernatural gifts to unbelievers in return for cash.

According to Giwa, the electorate erred by removing former President Goodluck Jonathan from office due to the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) alleged dishonesty.

He claimed that since the APC took power in the country, the economy of the nation has been in severe crisis.

“I was told by the Spirit of the Lord that the adversary had placed a false Spirit in the mouths of some of our prophets. To put it another way, they have traded the gift of prophecy to unbelievers for cash, much like Esau traded his birthright for soup with his younger brother Jacob. Thus, the Lord declared that he had left them to mislead the country of Nigeria.

Politicians that genuinely care about the people are rare; politics is a complex field. The Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the most recent general elections, Peter Obi, was allegedly utilized by the APC to undermine the opposition’s chances in the general elections in 2023.

Additionally, Giwa informed Nigerians that it would be difficult to predict if Obi would continue to play the same role in the 2027 presidential election.

“Many of you may be familiar with a man named Peter Obi,” he continued. It wasn’t until 2023 that I called him a pretender. Despite the fact that he was backed by several fleshly men of God, I stood out from the crowd and trusted my gut.

In my opinion, he is not a serious politician. Similar to his actions during the 2023 presidential race, the individual is already cashing out. The idea that God knows him better than he knows himself is difficult for his fans to accept. Getting things done on the gold plate is what he desires.

He was utilized by the ruling party in 2023 to split some votes. It remains to be seen if they will use him once more. Peter Obi as Nigeria’s president is not as good as Tinubu in another four years. There will be selfishness, nepotism, and tribalism under Obi’s government.
