Barau FC technical adviser Ladan Bosso has expressed disappointment with the outcome of his side’s matchday one encounter with Enyimba.

The Maliya Boys were held to a 0-0 draw by the nine-time champions at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano, on Sunday.

Barau FC dominated the game but were let down by their poor finishing.

Bosso said that his team deserved to go home with maximum points.

“The result was not what we expected, but we thank God for the goalless draw. We deserved to win this match because our players gave their best,” he told the club’s media.

Barau FC will take on Bayelsa United in their next game at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa, on Sunday.

Bayelsa United stunned Shooting Stars 1-0 at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, in their first game.
