Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi surprised veteran entertainer Charles Oputa, well known by his stage name Charly Boy, with a “Ghana Must Go” bag.
According to a post on his X profile, the socio-political activist said that he received a call from Obi at around 1 am, informing him that Obi would be paying him a courtesy call at around 5 am.
The former governor showed up at his house carrying the Ghana Must Go bag, which contained some fruits, after the artist stated he complied despite his busy schedule.
Charly Boy wrote in pidgin English, “I see a huge Ghana as I come downstairs to meet him.” Must pass by my sitting room’s entrance. I stare at the bag and ponder, “What fits inside this bag?”
