Dele Momodu, the publisher of Ovation Magazine, has charged that the opposition is being pressured to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Momodu claimed that the APC is enticing and forcing the opposition to join them in an appearance on Arise Television.

According to reports, his submission follows the departure of a number of well-known PDP members to the APC.

Both Peter Mbah, the governor of Enugu State, and Douye Diri, his counterpart, recently left the PDP.

Momodu bemoaned the large desertion, saying that some politicians appear to have jazzed Nigerians.

He claimed that he does not think the mass defections are typical.

“The APC is urging and pressuring the opposition to join them,” Momodu stated.

I’m starting to believe that some politicians have “jazzed” Nigerians because of their actions, which don’t seem regular to me.

Imagine a governor serving a second term, people who have absolutely no business. To what location are you running? From where are you fleeing?

It’s a mix of a lot of things for me. Some people are looking for jollification. They’ll go where the electricity is, then. As you are aware, the Federal Government of Nigeria holds greater authority than the President of the United States.
