Veteran Nollywood actor Yemi Solade has revealed the success behind his 21-year-old marriage to his wife Hannah which is blessed with two children.
In an interview with Nollywood Radio, the 64-year-old film producer stated that his wife, whom he married in September 2023, has been the foundation of their marriage.
He said their relationship was the key to their happy marriage and that he owed much of their success to Hannah’s support and capacity to mentor him through life’s obstacles.
“I give it to my wife. She manages me very well. She is been very tolerant; she perseveres a lot. My wife, apart from every other thing, is just a normal person. She is very selfless, she sacrifices more than anybody I know in this world. She is God-sent,” Solade said.

“She understands when I have and when I don’t have. She is not ostentatious. Anything I give to her, she prays for me, and that goes a long way.
“Marriage is more like friendship because it is a life contract”, the actor added.
The actor denied having any control over casting in response to reports that he requests s3xual favors in exchange for movie parts. He also praised his wife for bearing with such rumors with composure.
“Once I show her and say ‘Honey, sorry, something is brewing,’ and then she says ‘just be careful’, that is all. My wife is a very peaceful person; otherwise, we would not be together for 22 years now,” he added.
