Well-known Nollywood actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has addressed the criticism directed at her in a recent social media post by fellow actress Eniola Badmus.

“Ope, where is your front hair?” Badmus, who is currently a Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abass, said in response to a video that Aiyeola shared, in which her receding hairline was so noticeable that others were leaving comments.

Aiyeola, however, expressed dissatisfaction with the Speaker’s aide’s remarks in a video response to Badmus, stating that it was made by someone who has previously been made fun of on social media.

She claims that this webcast is dedicated to Eniola Badmus. I’ve made the decision to ignore this group of naive and wicked people. Even though I am aware of how the internet operates and that many creatures can assume human forms, I have only chosen to respond to her.

“You used to be a target of online mockery and body shaming, and now you believe that you, who have already gone through the anguish and suffering of body shaming, can appear in my film and carry out the same action.

“You have never before advocated anything related to me, but I swear to God that you are an animal for coming under my post and leaving this comment. You consider physical appearance to be a measure of beauty? You’re not knowledgeable. Additionally, I feel sorry for those who consider you a friend.
