The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two people suspected of store breaking and stealing.
The two allegedly broke into a shop in Kilimi, a village in Michika Local Government Area, and stole wares.
The Command said in a press statement released on Sunday by police image maker, SP Suleiman Nguroje, that the arrest followed credible intelligence indicating that on 5th September, 2025, the suspects broke into a phone accessories shop at Kilimi and carted away valuable items.
According to the statement, police operatives attached to Gombi Divisional Police Headquarters swiftly responded and apprehended the suspects in possession of the stolen items.
The items include handset, MP3 player, DP light, rechargeable table fan, and others, as recovered from the suspects, namely Hassan Adamu, 25 years old, and Daniel Ishaya, 30 years old, both residents of Michika town.
“During interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime and will be charged to court upon completion of investigation,” the statement said.
