The “Afrobeats Big 3,” as Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has named them, are the greatest Afrobeats performers of all time.
In a recent interview with Hot 97 FM, the “Rush” crooner revealed that her top three Afrobeats artists were Rema, Wizkid, and Tiwa Savage.
Fans and music lovers have been talking about her choice, especially because well-known Afrobeats giants Davido and Burna Boy were left off of it.
Because of its widespread appeal and financial success, It was Boy are frequently referred to by fans and critics as the genre’s “Big 3.”
But Ayra Starr’s list was different; in addition to Wizkid, the singer selected Rema and Tiwa Savage.

The singer also gave an explanation for her decision to move to New York City, USA, from Nigeria.
In a different interview with media personality Angela Yee, Ayra Starr stated that the presence of friends and the cultural atmosphere of the city had an impact on her choice.
She claimed to have spent a significant amount of time in the city throughout the previous two summers and ultimately made the decision to remain there for some time.
“I’ve been in New York for the past two summers, and last summer I spent roughly three months living in Hell’s Kitchen with my friends.” We watched American films and television series. “I had fun,” she remarked.
The artist went on to say that although she had always wanted to grow up in the United States, convenience and time differences ultimately determined the location.
Although Los Angeles was an alternative, she stated that the time and distance between the city and Nigeria affected her choice.
Additionally, I had always desired to travel to America as a child. Which city would I like to visit? LA is too far away; there is a nine-hour time difference with Nigeria. Thus, I decided on New York,” she said.
