Veteran Nigerian comedian Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, well known by his stage name Ali Baba, has talked about his friends’ and associates’ wives having extramarital romances with governors and other powerful politicians.
During an appearance on the Outside the Box podcast, Alibaba reportedly revealed this information.
The comic recalled an instance where he met the wife of a colleague at a state governor’s home.
According to him, the governor tapped the woman’s butt and urged her to come back inside since he wasn’t finished with her after she left the bedroom.
After they met at the Governor’s residence, the comedian/actor claimed to have met the woman with her husband. He pretended to have not seen her in years, and the woman was grateful for his response.
He stated: “I have visited the homes of many powerful men, such as governors and others, and I have observed the wives of many people I know going about their daily lives. I say, ‘How are you?'” How are things going?

Following their philandering, those men would tap her butt and tell her to return inside, saying, “I’m not done with you yet.” She did so. “Oh, how are you?” her husband asked when I ran into her at an event. Meet my wife. “Oh, madam,” I replied, “it’s a pleasure.” Five years have passed since I last saw you. “Where have you been?” “Good to see you, I’ve been around,” she says.
“I tell her it’s okay when she calls me after seeing me somewhere and says, ‘Ali, thank you.'”
