Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari, wonders why some of the losers of the last presidential primariesare still in traumatic situations.
Aisha made the observation while recounting the cruelty of her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari, when he was defeated three times in the country’s presidential elections.
She spoke at the inauguration of the Armed Forces Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Center, a project of the Women’s Defense and Police Officers Association led by Lucky Irabor.
Aisha explained how she tried to reach out to those who lost the primaries but ran into brick walls, adding that they were living in a traumatic and still cruel situation.
She wondered why politicians who lost to their political parties’ presidential tickets had to makethemselves almost unacceptable and even turn off their phones until that day so everyone won’t be able to contact them.
