After a video of her with a woman went viral, Angel Smith, a former housemate on Big Brother Naija, responded.
The woman was seen in the footage giving the reality TV star a tight hug. This gave rise to rumors that the two could be lesbians.
Angel responded on Snapchat, saying that being called a lesbian is not a slight.
Her relationship and sexuality are closely examined, yet pedophiles are frequently let unpunished, she noted, highlighting the absurdity in society’s priorities.
She maintained that since she is an adult, she is free to make her own decisions because it is her life.
Angel also emphasized the value of honoring personal convictions and distinctions, declaring that she is not homophobic.
The criticism was disregarded by her, who pointed out that opinions are ephemeral and will eventually be forgotten.
When Nigerians learn that others don’t agree with them, they go crazy, she said, saying things like, “Wow, calling me a lesbian is not the gag you think it is, is it an insult, bad news my fine ass.”

“Remember, this is my existence. Nobody among you discovered something secret. Guess what? I let my buddies to post it after I had already done so. It may seem alarming, but can you believe that this is my life, that I am an adult, and that I am free to do as I please?
And once more, that is shocking: I am not homophobic. Did you folks also realize that just because you believe something to be horrible, it doesn’t necessarily indicate that the other person feels the same way?
Did you all realize that we shall all pass away at some point, and your thoughts will be reduced to a whisper in the wind? It’s shocking, I know.
