Angela Okorie Slams Italy for Barring Lesbians and Gays from Having Children

Angela Okorie, a singer and actress from Nollywood, responded to Italy’s recent limits on LGBTQ+ parenting.

According to reports, the Italian government recently enacted laws that outlaw surrogacy overseas, prohibit non-biological parents from being listed on birth certificates, and prohibit homosexual and lesbian couples from raising children.

In response, Angela expressed her support for the decision on her Instagram story, calling same-sex parenting unacceptable and doubting the capacity of such couples to raise kids.

The mother of one also connected her beliefs to her beliefs, advocating for what she called a “spiritual cleansing” against actions that she believes to be immoral.

“Same-sex couples are not acceptable,” she wrote. They lack the mental stability to teach children. In the name of Jesus, we proclaim divine sanitation everywhere, amen. All of that crap needs to end.

In other news, Nigerian comedian Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, better known online as Shank Comics, has responded to the resurfacing of his previous social media post supporting the convicted American rapper Diddy’s “mindset,” which caused a significant outcry.

According to Naija News, Shank expressed admiration for Diddy’s “perspective to the grind” and his adaptability in the previous article, pointing out that the music tycoon “got lost in the pursuit of power.”

Shank explained in a message on his 𝕏 Twitter that he was not endorsing Diddy in any manner during the online reaction.

He said that the previous social media post was a “misguided attempt” to make reference to a movie villain.
