The All Progressives Congress (APC) chapter in Lagos State has refuted accusations that its delegates were left stranded during the party’s national conference in Abuja, calling them untrue and deceptive.
The party’s spokesperson, Seye Oladejo, advised the public to ignore reports claiming that Lagos delegates encountered logistical difficulties as a result of the non-release of mobilization monies in a statement issued on Saturday.
Oladejo stressed that plans were made to guarantee the comfort of all accredited delegates from Lagos throughout their well-planned and coordinated transportation to the conference.
Delegates were given suitable accommodations upon arrival, directly refuting the assertions that were being made.
The spokesperson further highlighted that the APC independently oversees its operations and logistics through its internal institutions and that the Lagos State Government does not sponsor party activities.
He also urged people to be cautious when interacting with unverified stories and to rely on reliable sources.
The Lagos APC reaffirmed its dedication to maintaining party unity and declared that it would continue to support state and federal governance projects.
