Joe Igbokwe, a prominent member of Lagos State’s All Progressives Congress (APC), has brazenly declared that President Bola Tinubu will undoubtedly hold onto power till 2031.
Igbokwe announced in a Facebook post on Tuesday that the president, who was elected in 2023 after defeating Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), will hold power for two consecutive terms.
Igbokwe said that if Tinubu runs for reelection, his second term will last until 2031, even though his first term is scheduled to end in 2027.

He also counseled other presidential contenders to reevaluate their goals if they intended to run in 2027.
“I will advise any presidential candidate who hopes to win the 2027 election to give up on that goal until 2031.” President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) is destined to hold the office until 2031. Igbokwe stated, “He needs eight years to correct the record.”
