Sokoto South Senator, Aminu Tambuwal, has declared that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar would have made a better president than Bola Tinubu.
Tambuwal lamented that since Tinubu assumed office, he has been unable to appoint ambassadors for Nigeria.
Featuring on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives said Tinubu does not understand how the system works.
He said: “Atiku is better at getting the job done than Tinubu. Atiku is better in many ways, in understanding the dynamics of running the government.
“Tinubu has always been confined to locality in Lagos and has never been a federal operator, he does not understand the system.
“Look at it up till now we don’t have ambassadors, two years and almost three months into the administration, what does that tell you.”
