Notorious bandit kingpin, Kachallah Bello Turji, has accused Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, of sponsoring terrorism in the North-West.
Turji who made the strong allegations in a video circulated on social media, said Matawalle has been involved in supporting and backing terrorism in the North-West even as Zamfara State governor.
In the video posted on X by Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and Security analyst in the Lake Chad region on Sunday, Turji who had earlier accused Matawalle of being behind some high profile bandits in the past, said if Matawalle should deny the allegations, he would come out with evidence that will prove his allegations.

Turji’s allegations are coming following earlier accusations he levelled on Matawalle which had been debunked by the Minister’s office.
In the post, Zagazola said:
“Breaking: Terrorist Kingpin Kachallah Bello Turji, says he stands by his words, accusing the former Governor of Zamfara state and Current Minister of Defence, Alhaji Bello Matawalen Maradun, of backing terrorism in the North West.
“The Minister has earlier denied the allegation through his media consultant, Deyemi Saka, but Bello Turji insisted that what he was saying was true.”
