The CAN Chairman also praised Bauchi State Governor, Sen. Bala Mohammed, for ensuring the peaceful and successful distribution of Christmas food items to the Christian community across the state.
Rev. Dimeus made these remarks while speaking to journalists during the 2024 Christmas celebration in Bauchi. He noted that while some states experienced tragedies during the distribution of food items, Bauchi State was spared due to the governor’s wisdom and leadership.
The CAN Chairman attributed the successful distribution of the items to the governor’s fear of God and his commitment to the welfare of the people. He revealed that Christians in Bauchi State received various gifts, including rice, palm oil, rams, cows, clothes, and other items, courtesy of the governor and his cabinet.
Rev. Dimeus urged other state governors to emulate Governor Bala Mohammed’s example, assuring that CAN will continue to support government policies and programs for the benefit of the people of the state.
