Malam Musa Ahmed Ningi, the principal of Government Day Secondary School in Kirfi, has been approved by the Bauchi State government to be fired immediately due to serious misconduct.
The Bauchi State Teachers’ Service Commission’s permanent secretary, Garba Muhammad Bashe, signed a statement announcing the occurrence.
In a similar vein, the Commission dismissed Adamu Shehu, a senior teacher at the school, after he was found guilty of conspiring with the principal to unlawfully sell some government-owned school property.
As per the Commission, the products sold include nine large aluminum cooking pots, thirty-two scrap student beds, and an unknown quantity of roofing zinc.
The two cops were found guilty of the charges by a commission investigation committee consisting of four members.

The Commission ordered the two officers to be transferred to different schools and authorized their demotion by one grade as part of the disciplinary action.
Both officers will return the estimated ₦597,000 value of the sold commodities, according to a statement released by the Commission’s Information Officer, Dahiru Adamu, to journalists in Bauchi on Thursday.
Furthermore, the principal must return ₦72,000 in order to settle the allowance he owed the school’s casual workers.
Additionally, the Commission promised to work with security forces to recover stolen goods and guarantee responsibility.
