The kidnappers of two Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) employees in Benue State are want N10 million from each of them in exchange for their release.
A few days earlier, the victims—Officers David Shiaondo Iorwuese and Oliver Orasuur—were apprehended along the Katsina-Ala–Ukum Road.
According to family members, the kidnappers had been in touch with them to demand the ransom money.

The NIS responded to the event by describing the kidnapping as a “critical moment for the Service” and urging immediate action, widespread assistance, and concerted attempts to guarantee the officers’ safe release.
