Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye popularly known in social circles as Bobrisky has denied shelling out the sum of N15 million to officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following allegations made by Very Dark Man.

The transvestite refuted the claims after activist and popular social media influencer Very Dark Man leaked an audio recording of the socialite claiming that he bribed EFCC with N15 million.

Bobrisky stated in a widely shared audio clip that was released by VDM that he paid N15 million to unidentified personnel of the EFCC to drop charges of money laundering against him.

But on Wednesday morning, BobrIsky claimed to have completed his jail term in an Instagram post, denying that he had paid any EFCC staff to drop the money laundering accusations against him.

Bobrisky further denounced the widely circulated audio recording as a fake, stressing that the assertion that he was never detained was untrue and ought to be rejected.

He wrote: “My attention has been drawn to a fake voice recording circulating on the internet that I paid EFCC 15 million naira, and that I was never in prison… I didn’t pay any EFCC money, which is a very big lie. I served my term in full, and I came out. Discard any false information.”
