Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was sentenced by Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
According to reports, Kanu had already been found guilty on all seven counts brought against him by the Federal Government.
Kanu was given a life sentence by the judge on counts 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6.
Additionally, he gave Kanu a 20-year sentence without the possibility of a fine for count 3.
On count seven, the judge condemned Kanu to five years in prison without the possibility of a fine.
He shouldn’t be held at Kuje jail, according to Justice Omotosho’s ruling. He denied Nnamdi Kanu access to social media and took away his radio transmitter.
