According to former presidential spokesperson Femi Adesina, Muhammadu Buhari might have died long ago if he had sought medical attention in Nigerian hospitals.
Adesina reportedly said this in a Tuesday interview with Channels Television.
Critics of Buhari’s death in a London hospital, according to Adesina, should realize that the former president had a history of using London hospitals before to taking office in 2015.
Adesina claimed that Buhari needed to be alive in order to bring about any change in Nigeria and that Nigerian hospitals lacked the resources and know-how required for his care.
“Even when he wasn’t in office, Buhari always had his medicals in London,” he claimed. This is not the same as when he was the only president. Then, in order to change or rectify certain things in your country, you must still be alive.
